LOVIISA Stevedoring
Loviisa Port is accessable all year around. The whole waterway into Loviisa Port is kept open throughout the winter by IceBreakers, making the port ideal for breakbulk shipments.
The main products handled in Valko are sawn timber, wood poles, paper and steel. General cargo handling is not a problem at all for Loviisa's port. Cargo Connexion Oy has an excellent co-operation with the local Stevedoring company "Oy Federation Stevedores in Loviisa".
Stevedoring activities can be purchased through our company and when it concerns cargo in our care, we make sure that during the loading the utmost care is taken for your products.
The Port of Loviisa is offering the following possibilities for berthing of vessels:
- 225 meter quay, draft 7.3 meters
- 160 meter quay, draft 7.7 meters
- 290 meter quay, draft 8.5 meters
- One Ro-Ro ramp, draft 8.5 meters
There is an extensive railway network throughout the Port.
Goods can be moved directly from the ships into the sheds along side the quay areas All the necessary handling equipment is available. Loviisa Port is ideal for Project cargoes.
During the year 2006 the channel from the Pilot-station (Orrengrund) to Loviisa was completed to make the draft to a guaranteed 9,5 meters.

Helsinki Stevedoring
Helsinki Port is also accessable all year around. It is Finlands largest Import container Port.
Our "mother company" Container Finance, owns the second largest Stevedoring company in Helsinki, "Multi Link Terminals". This modern day Stevedoring company has all the facilities for rapid and accurate handling of all types of containers. Depot facilities are available, as well as
repair shops for containers and trucks. Our warehouse is 200 meters from the quay-side, making it an excellent location for direct loading from one transport unit to another.

Also more information is available here on the vuosaari -project. The Vuosaari -project is the new Container and Ro/Ro- Port of Helsinki that will replace the current locations in West Harbour and Somapasaari during the year 2008. Also Cargo Connexion Oy will be present in the new Vuosaari -project.
